How to Enable JavaScript in Chrome

If you’re having trouble getting JavaScript to work in Chrome, you may need to enable it through the browser’s settings. Here’s a quick guide on how to do that.

Open the Chrome browser.

Open the Chrome browser. Click on the 3-bar icon in the top right corner of the screen, then click on “Settings.”
Under “Appearance,” check the box next to “Show Home button.”
Click on “Change” under “Homepage.”
Enter “https://www.enable-javascript.com” in the box, then click on “Save.”
In the top-right corner of the Chrome window, click on the 3-bar icon, then click on “Settings,” then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Show advanced settings.”
Under “Privacy,” click on “Content settings.”
In the JavaScript section, select “Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended).”

Type “chrome://settings/content” into the address bar.

Select “JavaScript” from the list of content settings.

Open Chrome and navigate to the “Settings” menu. Select “Show Advanced Settings” from the bottom of the page. Find the “Privacy” section and select “Content Settings.” Find the section labeled “JavaScript” and select “Allow all sites to run JavaScript.”

Turn on JavaScript.

1. Open the Chrome browser.
2. Enter “javascript: in the URL bar.
3. JavaScript should now be enabled or disabled in Chrome.
